Shay Spivey, BSW, MSW was awarded over $100,000 in scholarships and free financial aid to return to college! Shay is a mental health therapist and financial aid consultant specializing in helping students understand and prepare to win scholarships for college. She is the founder of the Scholarship Advisor Program in Indianapolis, Indiana and the publisher of scholarshipadvisor.blogspot.com, a blog providing advice and resources for winning scholarships.
Shay earned her Bachelor and Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University. She has studied scholarships and free financial aid for over 7 years and developed a passion for helping others find free money for college. Shay offers a unique combination of empathic counseling experience, motivational interviewing skills, and financial aid knowledge to educate, motivate, and guide students and parents through the scholarship and financial aid process.
